The Crocker family have been farming at Higher Kingcombe Farm for three generations, since 1939.

We achieved organic status in 2000 and most of our land is now pasture for an organic dairy herd. The rest is naturally too marshy for pasture. It's peppered with underground springs that brim with sweet, fresh, Dorset water. To best use this wonderful natural asset, we have constructed a series of spring-fed lakes. These now attract a host of wildlife, from kingfishers to Sika deer.

Even after 70 years inhabiting Higher Kingcombe Farm, we still feel privileged to be living in such a peaceful, unspoilt and truly beautiful Dorset valley.
